Redlands has beautiful historic homes that require a thoughtful approach — we don't demo first and ask questions later. Older Craftsman and Victorian-era homes need careful slab and foundation work. Redlands also has newer development on the east side. We handle both ends of the spectrum.

A lot of our Redlands work is galvanized supply lines in the older homes off Olive and up toward the university. That steel rusts shut from the inside, so you get brown water on the first draw and pressure that drops to a trickle when two fixtures run at once. We re-pipe those in PEX-A. We also set a fair number of pressure-reducing valves on the higher streets near the foothills, where incoming street pressure runs hot enough to stress old fittings and shorten the life of everything downstream. The water here is hard and scales fast, so we check the PRV setting and the water heater every time we're out.
