Questions, Answered

The questions we hear most often, with the answers we actually give. If yours is not here, the phone line is the fastest way to get a straight answer.

Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. LIC. #802197 — California Contractors State License Board. Fully bonded and insured. You can verify the license number directly on the CSLB website using the link in our footer or on the Contact page.
Do you charge for estimates?
No. Written estimates are free. For slab leak jobs, the leak detection itself is also free — we find the problem before we quote the repair. We do not charge a "diagnostic fee" to tell you what is wrong.
How do I know if I have a slab leak?
Common signs: hot spots on the floor, the sound of running water with everything off, an unexplained jump in your water bill, mildew or damp spots near baseboards, or a water meter that keeps ticking when nothing is in use. If you suspect a slab leak, call us — we will come out and confirm with acoustic equipment and thermal imaging before recommending any work.
What is your warranty on slab leak repairs?
Lifetime, in writing, on the repair itself. We back the work because we trust the methods we use (pipe sleeving or re-route, both with PEX-A). We do not tunnel under your house or saw the slab.
Do you offer 24/7 emergency service?
Yes. 24/7 for emergencies — burst pipes, sewage backup, major leaks, anything that cannot wait until morning. Normal business hours for non-urgent work are Mon–Fri 7am–6pm. After hours, call the same number — leave a message and we will get back to you fast.
What payment methods do you accept?
Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover, Cash, Check, Zelle, Venmo. No need to write a check on the spot if that is not your thing.
Why PEX-A instead of copper for re-pipes?
PEX-A holds up better against Inland Empire water. Copper is vulnerable to pinhole leaks from the mineral content in the local supply, which is exactly why so many homes here need to be re-piped in the first place. PEX-A also installs faster (1–3 days for most homes) and costs less. We re-pipe in PEX-A only.
Do you install tankless water heaters?
Yes — Navien certified. NPE Series gas tankless is what we install most often. Tankless is not the right answer for every home (the comparison on our water heaters page walks through it), but when it fits, we know the installation, the venting, the gas-line sizing, and the annual maintenance Navien recommends.
What about Bradford White tank water heaters?
Bradford White is our preferred tank brand and we are an authorized dealer. 40, 50, and 75-gallon gas models in both power vent and atmospheric vent configurations. California code requires double-strap earthquake bracing on every install — non-negotiable, no exceptions on our jobs.
Where do you service?
The Inland Empire and surrounding cities — Corona, Riverside, Perris, Lake Elsinore, Murrieta, Temecula, Hemet, Moreno Valley, Fontana, Rancho Cucamonga, Ontario, Chino, Norco, Chino Hills, Menifee, Wildomar, Canyon Lake, San Bernardino, and Redlands. If your city is not on the list, call anyway — we cover most of the IE and will tell you straight whether we can get to you.
Do you do commercial work?
Light commercial — restaurants, offices, retail, multi-unit under 10 doors. We schedule around your business hours where possible. Larger commercial work is not our specialty; we will tell you if a job is outside our wheelhouse.
What jobs do you NOT do?
Hydro-jetting (we use mechanical drain clearing — heavy sewer-main jobs we refer). Backflow assembly testing (requires a separate California certification). Tunneling or saw-cutting under slabs (we sleeve or re-route). Copper repipes (we use PEX-A only). When you call us with one of those, we will tell you straight and point you to someone who specializes in it.
