Two jobs come up a lot here. The first is re-piping the original 1980s tract homes near the lake, where the gray polybutylene supply lines have started splitting at the crimp fittings. We pull those out and run PEX-A through the attic and walls. The second is pressure-reducing valves. Canyon Lake sits on higher ground off the main feed, and we read static pressure north of 90 psi on plenty of these streets, which beats up fixtures and water heaters early. We set a new PRV and bring it back to 65 or 70. We've also swapped a fair number of Navien tankless units on the hillside lots.
